CNC Miller Programmer (Days) | Dudley
£16-£18 per hour
Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm / Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm
The Role
We're recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well-established manufacturing site in Dudley.
This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for:
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC machines.
- Milling and boring components.
- Working with Heidenhain controls (essential).
- Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.
- Carry out medium to large‑scale milling and boring work.
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
- Work to tight tolerances and machining standards.
- Inspect and check your own work using measuring equipment.
- Proven experience in CNC milling (programming/setting/operating).
- Strong background in medium to large milling and boring.
- Experience with Heidenhain controls (preferred).
- Fanuc knowledge beneficial.
- Confident reading engineering drawings, including machining symbols, tolerances and geometric tolerances.
- Experience using measuring equipment: micrometers, slip gauges.
