Flatbed Laser Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Flatbed Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating flatbed laser cutting machinery to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in industrial laser operations and a background in driving or delivery, to contribute to our production processes efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

* Operate flatbed laser cutting machines with precision, ensuring accurate and efficient production of parts.

* Set up and calibrate equipment prior to each shift, adhering to technical specifications.

* Monitor machine operation throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessary.

* Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of laser equipment to maintain optimal performance.

* Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specified standards.

* Maintain accurate records of production data and machine performance.

* Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of materials and safety gear.

* Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate lifting techniques or machinery.

* Drive company vehicles for delivery or transportation purposes when required, demonstrating commercial driving skills.

Qualifications

* Proven experience operating flatbed laser cutting machinery or similar industrial equipment.

* Previous experience in driving or delivery roles, preferably with commercial driving licences.

* Knowledge of safety procedures related to laser operation and industrial environments.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
