Machine Operator (Manufacturing)

Hours of work: 12 hour Night shift
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour + Fortnightly Shift Allowance

We are currently seeking a machine operator to join our clients busy manufacturing team on a permanent night shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing and machine operating experience who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist production environment.

Full training will be provided, but candidates must have a background in manufacturing and experience operating machinery within a production setting.

The Role:

Working as part of the production team, operating machinery, ensuring products are manufactured to quality standards while maintaining safe and efficient production processes.

Shift Pattern:

Permanent Night Shift

12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Operating and monitoring machinery (Training on company machinery will be provided).
Setting up and adjusting machines to meet production requirements.
Conducting routine quality checks and recording production data.
Loading raw materials and monitoring production output.
Identifying and reporting machine faults or production issues.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets.

Requirements:
Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing setting.
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Ability to follow processes and work instructions accurately.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Reliable with a flexible and positive attitude.
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts.
