About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Assembly & Picking Production Operatives to join our busy manufacturing and warehouse team in the Merry Hill area. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly of products, order picking, packing, and supporting the smooth running of the production process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble products accurately to quality standards and production targets.

* Pick customer orders using pick sheets, handheld scanners, or warehouse management systems.

* Pack finished products safely and securely for dispatch.

* Carry out quality inspections on assembled products and report any defects.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

* Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

* Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks when required.

* Work as part of a team to meet daily production and customer deadlines.

* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Skills and Experience

Essential

* Previous experience in a production, assembly, warehouse, or picking role.

* Good attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to work to targets and deadlines.

* Good communication skills.

* Reliable, punctual, and flexible.

* Ability to stand for long periods and undertake manual handling duties.

Desirable

* Experience in electrical field
