Hours: 40 hours per week

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established electronics manufacturer in Dudley, looking for a hands‑on Production Manager to oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across the production facility.

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Planning and coordinating manufacturing activities to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and customer specifications.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Monitoring KPIs and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Managing staffing levels, training, performance, and employee development.
• Promoting a strong culture of health and safety throughout the manufacturing operation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and workflows.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Production Manager within an electronics manufacturing environment (essential).
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop production teams.
• A proven track record of improving manufacturing performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities with a proactive approach to decision‑making.
• Experience working with production KPIs, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working within ISO‑regulated manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of PCB assembly, electronic products, or electro‑mechanical manufacturing processes.
