Monday – Friday (6:00am – 14:00pm)

The Machine Shop Supervisor will assist the business in meeting daily production targets while maintaining quality and optimizing machining efficiencies.

• Plan and organise work orders and labour within the department to achieve agreed daily O.T.D. recoveries and maximise productivity.
• Ensure parts are produced in accordance with approved quality standards, procedures and process techniques as defined by route cards and drawings.
• Follow standard working practices on all operations in terms of workflow, WIP quantities, process/cycle times and procedures.
• Monitor existing production techniques and implement improvements or alterations via the correct procedures.
• Analyse and order consumable stock levels for the department.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on breakdowns, preventive maintenance (P/M) and work orders (W/O) to minimise downtime and maximise machine availability.

• Essential: 3–5 years’ experience as a Supervisor / Team Leader within a machining environment (milling and turning).
• Essential: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Desirable: Hands‑on machining experience.
• Desirable: Experience working within heavy engineering.
