Looking for a hands-on role with great earning potential? Join a well-established engineering company near Halesowen as a Forge Operative, where you'll play a key role in the heat treatment and logistics process.
Due to continued growth we are currently recruiting for a Forge Operative to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Forge Operative you will be responsible for operating counterbalance FLTs and overhead cranes.
Commutable from Birmingham, Aston, Halesowen, West Bromwich, Dudley, Smethwick, Harborne, Northfield, Sutton Coldfield, Minworth, Rowley Regis
Duties
- Operating machinery in the heat treatment area (chargers)
- Collect work from the forgings department to load into heat treatment.
- Operating the pendant and cab-controlled cranes within the machine shop. (All LOLER and associated training will be provided)
