Pertemps Dudley Industrial is recruiting a Press Brake Operator for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position in Kingswinford, paying £13.27 per hour. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, with shifts available from 6:00am–2:00pm or 8:00am–4:00pm. This role suits someone with solid experience in steel machinery within a manufacturing or fabrication setting. Prior Amada Press Brake expertise is beneficial, though full training is offered for candidates lacking direct experience.
Daily duties involve operating the Amada Press Brake and handling steel materials in a production environment. Applicants should possess confidence working with industrial equipment and a dependable approach to shift work. This assignment offers steady hours and a clear route to permanent employment for the right individual.

- Operating a Press Brake (Amada)
- Working with steel and metal products
- Carrying out general Machine Operator duties
- Production and Assembly work
- Setting and operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Supporting experienced Press Brake Operators with production requirements
- Quality checking finished products
- Following drawings, measurements and production instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working to production targets and deadlines
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Machine Operator with a strong background in steel machine operating . You may have previous experience as a:
Machine Operator Press Brake Operator Steel Machine Operator Production Operative Manufacturing Operative Machine Setter / Operator Metal Fabrication Operative Press Brake experience is highly desirable, but Amada Press Brake experience is not essential. Full training will be provided for a candidate with the right steel machine operating experience and attitude.
- Strong experience working with steel and/or metal
- Previous Press Brake Operator experience would be an advantage
- Experience using an Amada Press Brake would be desirable
- General production and manufacturing experience
- Assembly experience
- Ability to follow instructions and production requirements
- Reliable and hardworking
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Able to work as part of a production team
- Temp to Perm for the right candidate
