Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Production Operative to join our growing team. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality food products reach our customers efficiently and safely. You will play a vital part in the production process by picking, packing, and adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Pick and pack food products to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Ensure all products are labelled and packed accurately according to guidelines.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, following regulatory and company policies.
Perform quality checks throughout the production process to maintain consistency and high standards.
Operate basic equipment and tools in a safe manner during the production process.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or concerns to the supervisor.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and the production area to ensure a safe working environment.
Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or food safety issues to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

Prior experience in food production, picking and packing, or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and cleanliness protocols.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift items up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
Excellent teamwork abilities and communication skills.
Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments, as required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Shift Timings

The role has the following shift options:

5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
2:30 PM to 11:30 PM
