Bench Joiner
Full Time | Monday to Friday Day shift - Early finish on a Friday | Overtime Available
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing commercial furniture manufacturer and interior fit-out specialist for an experienced Bench Joiner to join their workshop team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled joiner or cabinet maker looking to work on high-quality commercial furniture and bespoke joinery projects in a modern manufacturing environment.

Working from technical drawings, you will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality commercial furniture and bespoke joinery products to exact specifications. You will work both independently and as part of a wider production team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Setting out, cutting, shaping and assembling joinery components
- Operating hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
- Manufacturing bespoke furniture and joinery items to a high standard
- Measuring and checking work to ensure accuracy and quality
- Preparing materials for finishing processes including laminating, staining and painting
- Liaising with colleagues and production teams to resolve technical queries
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker or similar
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and joinery machinery
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately to measurements
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience manufacturing high-end commercial furniture or bespoke joinery
- Knowledge of timber, sheet materials and joinery manufacturing techniques
- Experience preparing products for finishing processes
- Joinery qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Bench Joinery or Furniture Making
