Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Pertemps Dudley Industrial seeks an Assembler for a full-time manufacturing role based in Cradley. Working Monday to Thursday 7am until 4:15pm and Friday 7am until noon, the successful candidate joins a production team on the shop floor. Duties include operating automatic machinery, supporting equipment setup and adjustment, performing quality checks, and maintaining safe working standards throughout the assembly process. Applicants should bring prior experience within assembly, production, manufacturing or machine operation, alongside practical, hands‑on ability.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Halesowen. This is a hands‑on Assembly / Production Operative role working on the shop floor, supporting the production process, operating machinery and carrying out quality checks to ensure everything is produced safely and to a high standard. The role would suit someone with previous assembly, production, manufacturing or machine operating experience, particularly someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work.

• Working as part of a busy production and assembly team
• Operating automatic production machinery
• Supporting the setup and adjustment of machinery
• Carrying out basic checks on machinery and equipment
• Completing quality checks throughout the production process
• Using hand tools and power tools where required
• Moving materials and products around the production area
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
• Working to production targets and maintaining high standards of quality
• Reporting any issues with machinery or production processes

• Previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing or machine operating
• Confident using hand tools and power tools
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work well as part of a team
• Good understanding of health & safety
• Forklift experience would be an advantage but is not essential
