Are you a Mechanical Technician, Fitter or similar looking to join the UK's biggest steel processing specialist offering a dynamic work schedule with 4 day working weeks and full training to upskill into heavy industrial machinery?

In this role, you will be responsible for both the reactive and preventative maintenance for plant/steel processing machinery. On top of this, you will be responsible for cross-departmental liaison to ensure the smooth running of the factory, working closely with Electrical Maintenance Engineers. This role works on a 3 shift pattern - 1st week (6am-2pm), 2nd week (2pm-12am), 3rd week (8pm-6am) with shift allowance for late night shifts

This role would suit a Mechanical Maintenance fitter / Technician with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics looking to upskill with the UK's leading steel processor.

The Role:

Reactive and preventative maintenance for plant/steel processing machinery
Service and repair, as well as troubleshooting and diagnostics
Cross-departmental liaison to ensure the smooth running of the factory
1st week Mon-Fri (6am-2pm), 2nd week Mon-Thurs (2pm-12am), 3rd week (Mon-Thurs 8pm-6am
Plenty of overtime available (1.3x pay during week. 1.5x Saturday and 2x Sunday)

The Person :

Mechanical Fitter / Technician / Engineer or similar

Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
Willing to commute to factory in Dudley Mechanical, Engineering, Maintenance, Machinery, Plant, Industrial, Dudley, Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Steel, Processing, Servicing, Repairing, Diagnosing
