Communications & Public Affairs Officer needed in Dudley Paying £200 per day

Full time hours on a temporary basis

• Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of the corporate communications strategy.
  • Plan and deliver integrated communications campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Produce high-quality content for internal and external audiences, including press releases, briefings, newsletters, reports, presentations, web content, and social media.
  • Manage relationships with media representatives and respond to media enquiries.
  • Promote and protect the reputation through proactive communications activity.
  • Provide communications advice and support to senior officers, councillors, and service managers.
  • Support public affairs and stakeholder engagement activity across the organisation.
  • Monitor media coverage, campaign effectiveness, and stakeholder feedback, producing reports and recommendations.
  • Lead or support communications responses during high-profile, sensitive, or crisis situations.
  • Ensure all communications are accessible and comply with branding guidelines.
