The role will focus on market research, site identification, feasibility assessments and early-stage due diligence, helping inform key investment and development decisions across multiple European markets. Research planning requirements, environmental constraints, accessibility and development risks.
Support the evaluation of grid connections, power availability and utility infrastructure. Gather and analyse property, market, technical and commercial information. Prepare site comparison matrices, feasibility reports, presentations and recommendations. Support financial analysis, business cases and investment-related documentation. Monitor property transactions, planning applications and infrastructure investment. Liaise with landowners, property agents, planning consultants, utility providers and technical advisers. Coordinate information gathering, stakeholder meetings and occasional site visits.
Work collaboratively with real estate, engineering, development and commercial teams. Candidate Requirements Experience in real estate, property research, site selection, infrastructure development, market intelligence, consultancy or a related analytical field. Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and communicate findings clearly. Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience producing professional reports and presentations.
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of property, infrastructure or development considerations. Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Confident communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, independent approach combined with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to travel occasionally across the UK and Europe.
Desirable Experience Exposure to data centres, digital infrastructure, real estate development, land acquisition or property investment. Understanding of power infrastructure, grid capacity, utility connections and energy requirements. Knowledge of planning processes, zoning, environmental assessments or development feasibility. Experience using GIS mapping, property databases or location intelligence tools. A relevant qualification in real estate, surveying, geography, engineering, economics, business or a related discipline.
Additional European language skills. Why Apply? Work with a leading international data centre developer on strategic expansion projects. Gain exposure to significant real estate, technology and infrastructure investments. Contribute directly to site selection and development decisions across European markets. Collaborate with experienced professionals across property, engineering and commercial disciplines. Build specialist expertise in the rapidly growing data centre sector.
