Business Development Executive - Freight Services

Location: Halesowen

Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are looking for a confident and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing family-run business in Halesowen.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional looking to develop their career within the freight and logistics industry.
Freight experience is not required
, as full training and support will be provided.

You’ll be responsible for generating new business, developing customer relationships and growing existing accounts, while working closely with our operations team to ensure a high level of customer service.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Make outbound calls and follow up new enquiries and quotations.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate with customers.
• Identify upselling and account growth opportunities.
• Promote our range of freight and logistics services.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records using our CRM.

We’re looking for someone with previous sales or business development experience who is confident speaking with customers and has a genuine desire to win new business.

You’ll be proactive, commercially minded and organised, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Most importantly, you’ll have the ambition to succeed and develop within a growing business.

Freight, logistics or transport experience is not essential — we can teach you the industry.
