ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Practitioners will be pivotal in establishing consistently excellent social work practice in our teams.
They will hold a caseload of children needing the most skilled help and share their expertise with others through modelling, coaching, reflective supervision and other learning activities.
The role involves intervening in areas of poor practice, demonstrating leading practice and developing the professional practice of team members.
They will provide formal support to others in a social work or social care role, which may include practice education of students or ASYE social workers.
The practitioner will be dynamic and driven to achieve strong outcomes for children, skilled in providing support and challenge to colleagues and families, and in creating change.
QualificationsYou must be a registered social worker with significant experience of working with children and families in a statutory social work setting.
Evidence of interventions in areas of poor practice, leading practice and developing professional practice of team members is required.
Experience of formally supporting others in a social work or social care role, including practice education of students or ASYE social workers, is preferred.
Qualified Social Workers with a minimum of 12 months post‑qualifying experience are welcomed.
