Temporary The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join a specialist recovery service in Stourbridge on a 3-month temporary assignment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse and helping people make positive, sustainable changes in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Complete assessments and develop individual recovery plans
- Provide one-to-one recovery-focused support
- Support individuals engaging with drug and alcohol treatment
- Promote harm reduction and relapse prevention
- Monitor progress and review recovery goals
- Work alongside healthcare, social care and other partner agencies
- Support service users to access appropriate wider services
- Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding and risk concerns
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation
- Attend team meetings, case reviews and multi-agency meetings
- Previous experience in substance misuse, drug and alcohol, recovery, mental health or social care
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs
- Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, non-judgemental and recovery-focused approach
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Competitive rate of £18 per hour
- Full-time temporary assignment - 3-month contract
