Temporary The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join a specialist recovery service in Stourbridge on a 3-month temporary assignment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol misuse and helping people make positive, sustainable changes in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete assessments and develop individual recovery plans
  • Provide one-to-one recovery-focused support
  • Support individuals engaging with drug and alcohol treatment
  • Promote harm reduction and relapse prevention
  • Monitor progress and review recovery goals
  • Work alongside healthcare, social care and other partner agencies
  • Support service users to access appropriate wider services
  • Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding and risk concerns
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation
  • Attend team meetings, case reviews and multi-agency meetings
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in substance misuse, drug and alcohol, recovery, mental health or social care
  • Experience supporting vulnerable adults with complex needs
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate, non-judgemental and recovery-focused approach
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
