Assistant Psychologist

The Assistant Educational Psychologist (AEP) will work as part of Dudley's Educational Psychology Service to support the application of psychological knowledge and evidence-based practice to improve outcomes for children and young people aged 0-25. Working under the supervision of qualified Educational Psychologists, the postholder will contribute to assessment, consultation, intervention, research and statutory processes, including Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs).

The role offers valuable professional experience for psychology graduates interested in pursuing a career in Educational Psychology, while supporting the delivery of high-quality services that promote inclusion, wellbeing and achievement for children and young people, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
