Street Scene Operative Level 3

37 hours per week, permanent full‑time position in the Street Scene team, based at Lister Road Depot.

This role involves leading a team of street cleansing operatives and undertaking a variety of duties including:

• Leading and managing a charge hand team of street cleansing operatives
• Litter picking duties
• Cutting back vegetation
• Cleansing gateways into the borough
• Cleansing hot spot areas
• Removing general detritus along a scheduled route
• Operating a 3.5 tipper vehicle during the working hour schedule

Applicants should demonstrate a can‑do attitude, commitment to improving service delivery, customer focus and pride in their work. Physical fitness and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
