HGV Class 2 Driver – New Passes Welcome – Lanark People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Lorry Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, or Home Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Lanark . This is a fantastic opportunity offering £16.00 per hour, guaranteed 48 hours per week, full training, immediate starts, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a supportive and professional transport environment. No previous Class 2 experience? No problem. Full training and support will be provided for newly qualified drivers. Shifts

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
• Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Delivering kitchen and bedroom products to customers' homes with a Driver's Mate
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing pre and post journey vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure before transport
• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and paperwork
• Following assigned routes and adhering to delivery schedules
• Communicating professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Please note that some handball duties are required Essential Skills As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no IN, DR, DD, or CD endorsement codes
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
• The ability to work effectively as part of a two-person delivery team

Desirable Experience
• Previous experience driving commercial or multi-drop vehicles would be advantageous
• Previous experience delivering large or bulky goods would be beneficial
• Previous customer-facing delivery experience would be desirable Training Provided
