Holiday Cover Work | Monday to Friday Tramping | £20.67 per hour + £25 Night Out Allowance

We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers based locally to provide holiday cover on a dedicated Amazon contract.

This is not a permanent full-time position, but when booked, drivers can expect to work a full Monday to Friday tramping shift pattern, covering planned driver holidays and periods of annual leave throughout the year.

• Operating Class 1 vehicles from our Aldridge depot
• Delivering Amazon freight between major NDCs, fulfilment centres and distribution hubs across the UK
• Predominantly depot-to-depot work
• Minimal manual handling
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all transport legislation
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred

This role is ideal for drivers looking for quality tramping work without committing to a permanent Monday-to-Friday position. Holiday cover assignments are typically booked in advance and usually consist of a full working week, providing consistent work during each cover period.

You’ll be working on a well-organised Amazon operation with planned routes, clean work and professional support from the transport team.
