FLT​/Van Driver

Overview

IRS group (IRS) currently recruiting for an experienced FLT / Van Driver to join a busy manufacturing environment in Dudley.

This is a 50/50 role, with approximately half of your time spent operating an FLT and the other half driving a company van for deliveries and collections.

Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating an FLT safely around the site.

* Loading and unloading goods and materials.

* Driving a company van for deliveries and collections.

* Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and production areas.

* Supporting the wider team when required.

* Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.

* Following all Health & Safety procedures.

* Completing basic delivery and stock paperwork.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

* Hold a valid FLT licence/certificate.

* Hold a full UK driving licence.

* Have previous FLT and van driving experience.

* Ideally have experience within food manufacturing.

* Be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.

* Be hands-on and willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed.

* Have a strong work ethic and reliable attitude.

* Be punctual and dependable.

* Be able to work well as part of a team.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who enjoys being kept busy. You will split your time between FLT operation, van driving and supporting the wider team to keep the operation running smoothly.

Pay: £12.71 per hour | Full-time | Dudley
