The RoleThis job is based out of our Dudley – DY5 1QA
and oversees daily stores operations by supervising staff, managing stock control, and ensuring efficient, safe warehouse processes.
- Setting up the stores area and dealing with branch stock transfers
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
- Overseeing the rotation of stock and weekly stock checking
- Ensuring the efficient running of the stores department
- Organizing and managing stores staff effectively
- Ensuring vehicles are loaded with the correct stock and within the weights allowed
- Ensure picking and loading is completed in a timely manner, checking that goods are being received and leaving correctly
- Assisting with picking and loading when necessary
- Ensure by checking all transfers to each branch in order to make sure right quantity of goods are loaded and the goods are secured safely on the back of the lorry by driver.
- Pre- shift checks to be done on daily basis
- Warehouse racks to be checked every week
- Problem solving and decision making

- Manual handling skills
- Experience working within a stores/warehouse environment
- Counterbalance and reach forklift licence is desirable
- Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day, between the hours of 07:30 – 18:00
- £27.040 per annum
- 30 days holiday including bank holidays
