Warehouse Operative​/FLT Driver

Role Overview

An experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT Counterbalance licence is required to join a small, busy warehousing team within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day warehouse operations, material handling, and occasional local deliveries and collections.

This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance FLT

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch

• Booking goods in and out of the warehouse

• Processing delivery notes, despatch notes, and general warehouse paperwork

• Stock control and safe storage of materials

• Supporting production with materials handling as required

• Assisting with local deliveries and collections when necessary

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Working collaboratively within a small team and supporting colleagues where needed

Candidate Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience

• Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence with practical operating experience

• Full, clean UK driving licence

• Computer literate (able to process paperwork and basic systems use)

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment

• Strong team player with a flexible and helpful attitude

• Good attention to detail and organisational skills

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience with in a manufacturing or engineering environment

• Knowledge of stock control procedures
