Warehouse and Production Team Leader

About Hexeal Hexeal is a fast-growing FMCG e-commerce business shipping approximately 25,000 orders per week across the UK. We are looking for an organised, driven and hands-on team leader to support the warehouse & Production operation. This is a varied role combining hands-on leadership, quality control, continuous improvement and administrative support. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our warehouse and production departments operate safely, efficiently and to the highest standards .

Job Overview What you'll do:
Coordinate inbound and outbound, adhering to tight deadlines Liaise with the supervisor and Assistant Manager to ensure issues are dealt with promptly Oversee the quality assurance of goods before they go out Support with training and day-to-day supervision of a team of up to 40 warehouse operatives Lead and motivate the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety legislation.

Provide weekend support for label printing – You will be expected to work one in three Saturdays Allocate work and monitor team performance.

Required:

Be able to work effectively under pressure while always maintaining a professional approach 2 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics team leader role Good level of physical fitness — this is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting Flexibility around shift timings Excellent people and organisational skills, supported by strong attention to detail Must be PC literate Desirable:
First aid Knowledge of COSHH Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Experience

Working hours:

Monday – Friday 8:00- 17:00, one in three Saturdays 7:30 – 14:00. Flexibility will be required around working hours.
