We're excited to offer a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic Warehouse Apprentice to support the busy team at our headquarters in Halesowen.
About the Warehouse Assistant role:As our Warehouse Apprentice, you will mainly be assisting with operations in our warehouse, picking, packing and dispatching goods. You will also be required to assist with processing of stock, including receipting goods, shelving items in the correct locations, stock checks and general warehouse housekeeping. A key member of the team, you will be required to liaise with other colleagues and departments across the branch network.
The environment and culture are one where everyone mucks in and works across a variety of tasks. That could mean one moment you'd be picking goods and the next hopping in the van to assist with a delivery. There's no task this team doesn't do and so if you are someone that is looking for a role that is varied and you like getting stuck in then this could be the perfect fit!
Whatwe're looking for in our Warehouse Assistant:
A genuine interest in Warehousing and building a career
Enthusiastic, motivated and willing to learn
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Basic IT skills (including Microsoft Office)
Strong attention to detail and logical thinking
Well-presented and professional approach
Able to travel to and work locally
No prior experience is required-just the right attitude and commitment to learning.
