Senior Electrical / E&I Project Engineer - Energy & Industrial Plant Projects

Duisburg | Full-time | Permanent

We're supporting a highly established engineering services provider delivering complex modernisation and upgrade projects across industrial and energy generation environments throughout EMEA.

This is a hybrid technical + project delivery role where you'll take ownership of electrical and E&I scope across full project life cycles - from bid support and technical definition through to site commissioning and client handover.

What You'll Be Doing

Reviewing technical project and contract documentation
Defining electrical and control concepts during tender and project phases
Producing technical specs and evaluating supplier bids
Supporting electrical design, system integration, and plant upgrades
Managing E&I project scope including budget, planning, and delivery
Supporting installation, commissioning, and site troubleshooting
Acting as technical interface between clients, suppliers, and internal teams

What We're Looking For

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
Strong experience in industrial plant, energy, utilities, or heavy process environments
Background spanning electrical systems plus instrumentation / control exposure
Experience supporting projects from concept through commissioning
Comfortable working with technical standards, documentation, and safety requirements
Able to operate in client-facing project environments
German speaking to B2 +
