- Develop and implement comprehensive health safety and environmental HSE policies and procedures specific to oil and gas operations
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments and hazard identification for all operational activities from exploration to production and maintenance
- Oversee and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations industry best practices and company standards on-site
- Investigate all incidents accidents and near-misses determining root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Professional safety certifications such as CSP, CIH, NEBOSH International General Certificate, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety management within the upstream, midstream, or downstream oil and gas sector.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing robust HSE management systems (e.g., ISO 45001, API RP).
