Position Summary:
The Franchisee Benefits Administrator will play a critical support role during the annual open enrollment period by assisting franchise owners and HR administrators. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of
inquiries and data while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to phone and email inquiries related to the open enrollment process, providing clear and accurate information
- Maintain and update multiple spreadsheets, databases, and reporting documents
- Review benefits data entries and advise franchisees and HR administrators of any errors or corrections needed
- Provide clerical support including preparing documents, responding to inquiries, and assisting with general benefits administration tasks
- Communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders, many of whom may speak English as a second language
- Track and review benefits information across multiple franchisees and ensure compliance with enrollment processes
Required Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in employee benefits administration or HR support, with a focus on open enrollment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be patient, empathetic, and able to explain complex information clearly
- Comfortable handling questions and escalating issues when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service orientation and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Experience presenting benefits information or guiding employees through benefits enrollment processes
- Familiarity with benefits insurance terms and concepts
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates highly encouraged to apply
- Industry experience in retail, food & beverage, or supply chain environments
Desired Skills & Attributes:
- Ability to articulate and clarify benefits-related issues to a non-technical audience
- Demonstrated ability to track high volumes of franchisees in Excel or an ERP system
- Experience identifying and resolving data entry errors during benefits administration
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
