Job Summary

The Inside Sales Manager will create a robust self‑service channel for our customers and drive revenue growth in a key account segment. This leader will hire, train, and motivate inside sales reps to exceed revenue targets and will apply strong sales methodology and leadership skills.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Has deep knowledge of Nordson products, prices, policies, and procedures; knows which products best apply to all phases of assigned industries and can train Inside Sales Reps on upgrades, alternatives, spare parts, and solutions.
  • Stays up to date on industry information and communicates any risks or trends to the Sales Director on a regular cadence.
  • Maintains active cross‑functional engagement with Sr. Accounts leaders, Region Leaders, Service Leaders, and other leaders to ensure alignment on important business decisions that impact customer experience and revenue growth.
  • Demonstrates a passion for selling, meeting targets, and exceeding customer needs while motivating a team.
  • Builds relationships with customers at all account levels as well as vendors and co‑workers.
  • Exhibits outstanding technical aptitude.
  • Uses CRM and related applications to maintain detailed and accurate customer data; holds the team accountable to maintain standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education And Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in sales, tech support, product management, or business development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience selling and working with dispensing equipment.
  • Minimum 5 years leading a team.
  • Experience implementing CRM systems or self‑service channels preferred.
Preferred

Skills And Abilities
  • Analytical skill to review markets, estimate potential sales opportunities, and determine resource requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to present to leadership and communicate with a large remote sales team.
  • Intellectual curiosity to explore products or markets that may not have been thoroughly reviewed.
  • Collaborative skill to work with marketing, product management, engineering, and other internal groups to execute campaigns.
Travel Requirement

Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
