Senior CAD Designer – Transportation Department

Columbia Engineering seeks a Senior CAD Designer for our Transportation department to provide design in our roadway group in Georgia and Florida. This position can be located in Georgia, North Carolina, or Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Modeling of corridors, alignments, pipe networks and other elements.
  • Creating and editing labels, styles, curves and point tables.
  • Creating construction plans, quantity take-off and estimates.
  • QA/QC drawings and models to ensure accuracy.
  • Proper file management.
Requirements
  • Min 5 years of AEC industry experience with emphasis in Transportation and State DOT.
  • Ability to address problems and complete tasks independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Software Requirements
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) – Proficient.
  • Proficient in major civil engineering CAD platforms (Autodesk Civil 3D, Bentley Open Roads Designer/InRoads/Micro Station).
