Division Overview:

Client's Substation Engineering Division holds national expertise in the planning and design of new substations, high-voltage substations, and switchyards. Their team offers complete design services, combining technical knowledge with capable resources to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Job Summary:

The Relay Protection and Controls Engineer is responsible for designing and procuring protective relaying equipment for substations, switchyards, and transmission lines. This person ensures project scope adherence and updates, collaborates closely with the client's team to meet standards, and provides on-site support during construction when needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited)
• 4+ years’ experience in Utilities or Energy industry
• Familiar with:
  ETAP, WinIGS, IEEE 88/998
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, Micro Station, or Bentley Substation
• PE Certification preferred
• Knowledge of SCADA, relay settings, RTU configuration, and protection & controls is a plus
• Experience with electric utility or petrochemical sectors
• BSEE with 6+ years’ experience preferred
