- Lead project design through technical reports, geotechnical calculations, analysis, and modeling
- Provide design and construction observation for earth structures and foundations, ensuring soil stability
- Collaborate with structural engineers on marine structural foundation designs
- Assist with proposals, project budgets, and management of subcontractor/vendor contracts
- Conduct fieldwork, including data analysis and construction observations, to support project goals
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with an engineering consulting firm in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineering Certification (PE)
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field
- Experience designing waterfront facilities, including pile and steel sheet improvements
- Familiarity with designing retaining walls and various foundation types (spread footings, drilled piers, etc.)
- Background in dredging, slope stability, and in‑water capping aspects of remediation projects
