• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work.
• Prepare traffic engineering capacity analysis, conduct safety assessments, and identify intersection operational improvements.
• Design and prepare construction drawings for traffic projects, including signals and ITS.
• Apply a broad knowledge and good understanding of principles and practices of traffic engineering.
• Solve traffic and engineering problems effectively, communicate clearly, and produce high‑quality technical writing.
• Demonstrate reliability, commitment to projects, initiative, and desire to advance knowledge of traffic engineering principles.
• Effectively manage tasks and projects, including financial and administrative duties; communicate directly with clients.
• Supervise staff.

• Experience with Synchro/Sim Traffic, PTV Vistro/Vissim, and/or HCS software is preferred.
• Familiarity with AASHTO, MUTCD, and NACTO standards.
• Experience with Microstation.
• Experience with intersection and roadway concept development;
  Georgia DOT experience with standards and design process is a plus.
• Experience preparing traffic impact studies.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain a PE within one year is required.

• Education and/or
  
  Skills Required:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 4 years of related professional experience, or 8 years of equivalent professional experience.
• Participation in continuing education and professional development programs.
• Proven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate project teams.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Deep technical knowledge in the specific field of the project.
• Expertise in project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocols.
• Effective problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong negotiation skills to manage multiple contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements effectively.
• Strong comprehension of accounting principles to effectively manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.

• Master’s Degree in a related field (AEC Industry).

• Ability to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training along with passing the PM Board within 6 months of start date.
• Pre‑employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
