We are seeking a Project Manager / Sr Highway Design Engineer to join our Georgia team.
Job Responsibilities- Managing multiple transportation design projects with focus on client interactions.
- Providing daily quality control.
- Managing and training junior level engineers.
- Assisting with business development.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all roadway design and construction activities align with jurisdictional standards.
- Oversee multiple phases of roadway projects—from conceptual planning to final design and construction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Lead presentations, public hearings, and meetings to communicate project goals and updates.
- Address concerns and incorporate feedback into project development.
- Manage contracts, billing, and collections to ensure project profitability.
- Track expenditures and maintain strict cost control throughout the project life cycle.
- BSCE or BCE required.
- 10+ years of highway design and 2+ years of project management experience.
- GA PE and GSWCC Level II certification required.
- Experience with Bentley Micro Station V8 and MS Office applications required.
- Experience with Bentley Open Roads Designer preferred.
- Experience with Georgia DOT PDP preferred.
