Floor Staff - $14.00/hr - Regal Medlock Crossing 18 & RPX
Floor Staff members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability, and are responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service. They may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher.
Responsibilities- Regular and consistent attendance
- Handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so
- General cleaning duties
- Compliance with company dress code
- Operate POS system, ensuring accurate cash drawer, credit card, traveler’s check, gift card, and discount ticket handling
- Upsell/suggest (Premium Viewing Experience)
- Promote Regal Crown Club program
- Sell tickets in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy
- Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a consistent guest service philosophy
- Operate POS system and maintain accurate cash drawer and concession stock inventory
- Promote Regal Crown Club program
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession related equipment
- Upsell/suggestive selling
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws
- Abide by all local, state, and federal laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods
- Maintain current alcohol certification and training where applicable
- For theatres that sell alcohol, be of legal age and hold required credentials per state/local laws
- Complete required training on sexual harassment and discrimination
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats
- Enforce MPAA rating system
- Conduct in‑theatre inspections for picture, sound, and safety
- Report issues or discrepancies to management
- Assist with in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales
- Clean auditoriums at show ends and maintain common areas
- Monitor cleanliness and operation of vending equipment
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned by management
- Education/
Experience:
Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress toward completion required; if alcohol duties, required state/local certification and Regal Responsible Beverage Server training. - Language Ability: Good public speaking, effective listening, clear direct responses.
- Math Ability: Perform accurate calculations, identify and correct errors.
- Reasoning Ability: Identify problems, gather data, evaluate alternatives, take action under pressure.
- Personal
Skills:
Excellent communication with customers, co‑workers and management; establish goals, budget time, prioritize objectives. - Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; may lift up to 60 lbs; requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
