Overview
As a senior member of Delta Community Retirement & Investment Services’ Advisory Services Team, the Wealth Advisor will take on a mentorship role, driving the success of the practice and delivering comprehensive, high-level wealth management and financial planning services to a growing clientele. You will serve as a trusted senior advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families, developing tailored strategies that align with long-term financial objectives, risk management needs, and tax considerations.
In this advanced role, the Wealth Advisor will lead collaborative engagements with internal and external professionals, including CFAs, tax advisors, and estate planning attorneys. You will guide clients through life’s most significant transitions, offering expert advice that empowers them to make informed financial decisions. Additionally, the Wealth Advisor will play a key role in business development, client acquisition, and mentoring developing advisors, helping shape the future of the Advisory Services Team.

- Serve as the primary relationship manager for high-net-worth clients, offering strategic advice and comprehensive wealth management services that address their unique goals and financial complexities.
- Lead clients through the discovery process to uncover deep motivations, long-term objectives, and legacy aspirations, tailoring financial strategies that align with what matters most.
- Collaborate with CFAs and other financial advocates to design personalized investment management solutions that align with clients long-term goals, risk tolerance, and tax considerations.
- Facilitate and lead family meetings, guiding multigenerational financial planning and wealth transfer discussions, ensuring all family members are united and empowered to make informed decisions.
- Act as a quarterback for collaborative discussions with external partners such as tax professionals, attorneys, and banking professionals, ensuring seamless, well-rounded financial planning services.
- Drive business development and client growth strategies by leveraging your network, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining a proactive approach to client acquisition.
- Mentor developing advisors, providing guidance and leadership to help them grow within the Advisory Services Team.
- Stay at the forefront of financial planning trends and tools, integrating technology solutions to enhance the client experience and improve practice efficiency.
- Coach clients through significant life transitions—such as retirement, estate planning, or business succession—ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to take decisive action.
- Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.

RequiredMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or a related field.
- CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) designation or completed Masters or Doctorate Degree in Finance, Financial Planning, or Behavioral Finance and be eligible to sit for the CFP® exam.
- Candidates that do not currently hold the CFP®, but meet the education requirements, must successfully complete the exam within 6 months of on-boarding.
