Night Auditor

Night Auditor – Provide guest service and perform nightly audit duties at our hotel front desk.

The Night Auditor will conduct all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Audit responsibilities balance duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports. While completing these duties, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as check‑in/check‑out, reservations, and answering guest questions.

• Proactive thinking, keeping guest security always in mind, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
• Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift.
• Checking the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
• Greeting guests, registering, and assigning rooms.
• Processing guest registrations, including collecting payment.
• Preparing express checkout folios.
• Maintaining room status inventory.
• Communicating all pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.
• Maintaining and cleaning the lobby and bathrooms as needed.
• Transmitting information to the next shift to ensure a smooth transition.
• Working closely with all hotel departments to ensure highest quality of customer service.
• Answering inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions; explaining in‑room and hotel features.
• Completing all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.
