The Rotational Development Program is designed to prepare high‑potential candidates to take on leadership roles  Technology track is a 9‑ to 18‑month program during which participating Project Managers will go through four rotations:

In each rotation, the PM develops a solid understanding of the functional area, leads projects, and provides general support to the embedded team. Throughout the program, QTS leadership works with the participant to identify a role in technology operations that matches their interests and skill set.

• Lead process improvement initiatives and provide project management support in critical areas of QTS Technology operations.
• Develop a solid understanding of the data center industry, QTS product offering, and QTS operating model.
• Balance assigned/directed tasks with self‑identified project opportunities.
• Form and manage cross‑functional project teams to achieve objectives.
• Regularly present findings to various levels of QTS leadership.
• Travel between corporate hubs up to 25%:
  Suwanee, GA;
  Ashburn, VA;
  Overland Park, KS.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Finance, or Economics.
• Four or more years of professional experience.
• Superior people skills – must be able to work effectively with multiple business groups and levels of seniority.
• U.S. Citizenship required by law due to federal customer contracts.

• Advanced degree (technical master’s or MBA).
• Seven or more years of professional experience.
• Two or more years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in technology or security sectors.
• Process Improvement Certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Management consulting experience.
• Geographic flexibility within two years.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong initiative and creativity.
• Enthusiastic attitude in a team environment and ability to work independently.
• Comfort teaming with all levels of an organization, including presenting to senior executives.
