My team is working with an enterprise client in the consulting space- and after a massive year in acquiring new business, their technical support teams are needing to scale. They're looking for a Level III Desktop Support Engineer to come in and be a specialist in all things desktop. You'll be focused on working with all levels of the org in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of desktop environments.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years in the Desktop Support world, and can diagnose and remedy issues within Windows environments. From a technical standpoint, Active Directory, Wireshark, and experience with VLAN config are all necessary. The company has multiple offices across the country and continues to grow, and has a great office in the Duluth Atlanta area. They're offering a 4 days in/1 day WFH hybrid schedule.
APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCAL TO ATLANTA.
- 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies:
Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory - Proficiency with Windows-based environments
- Extensive Level III networking experience (VLAN's, network protocol analysis)
- Experience with Power Shell, Wireshark, and command Prompt
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Serve as the lead point of contact for desktop support
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical issues
- Ensure secure, efficient operation of all desktop systems
- Collaborate with IT leadership on system upgrades and initiatives
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior support staff
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis — now and in the future.
