SK C&C Network Engineer​/Server Engineer

Position: [SK C&C USA] Network Engineer / Server Engineer
* Basic Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol
* Good communication skills (Bilingual: Korean and English)
* Analytical mind and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
* CCNA preferred.
* A bachelor’s degree in network communication, information technology, computer science, or IT-related fields is preferred.
* Experience with manufacturing environment (Operation, IT project, etc.)
* Eligibility to work in the United States includes OPT. (VISA sponsorship can be provided to selected candidates.)
** Work Location**:
In person / Duluth, GA or Glendale, KY
* Develops and implements standard operating procedures for server hardware and software maintenance.
* Provide IT systems administration in a Redhat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environment.
* Install and configure server devices and systems software from multiple vendors.
* Administrates capacity and performance of server systems. Focuses on multiple aspects of server operations across various platforms.
* Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including integrating hardware and operating systems (OS).
* Resolve problems affecting server performance. Validate and adjust server configuration as needed. Observe and control the status and performance of all components of server/system facilities. Generate server utilization/trending/error reports as requested.
* Maintains control of server devices, including access to and authorization levels of devices. Also, maintains an effective security and backup system.
* Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements, provide documentation on advanced IT processes and procedures, and perform other tasks as assigned.
* Understanding and knowledge of Hypervisor (VMware), Linux (RHEL), and Windows Server internals, including DNS, AD, and server replication methods.
* Understanding RAID, SAN, NAS, data backup uses, and technologies.
* Systems are operational 24/7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours.
* 3+ years of experience in server engineering and maintenance
* Good communication skills (Korean and English Bilingual Preferred)
* Analytical mind and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
* RHCSA, RHCE, VCP preferred.
* A bachelor’s degree in network communication, information technology, computer science, or IT-related fields is preferred.
* Experience in the manufacturing environment (Operation, IT project, etc.)
* Eligibility to work in the United States includes OPT. (VISA sponsorship can be provided to selected candidates.)
* Availability for occasional business trips within the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
