An exciting opportunity for an experienced Catastrophe Risk Modeler to join a growing risk analytics function within the insurance sector. Working closely with underwriting, actuarial, and risk teams, you will play a key role in assessing natural catastrophe exposures and supporting strategic decisions across a global insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform catastrophe modeling and portfolio risk analysis across natural perils.
  • Analyze complex exposure datasets, modeled losses, and portfolio accumulations.
  • Support capital modeling, climate risk assessments, and broader ERM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and risk stakeholders to provide actionable insights.
  • Contribute to model validation, process improvements, and analytical best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in catastrophe modeling, exposure management, or risk analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with RMS, AIR, or comparable catastrophe modeling platforms.
  • Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including SQL, Excel, Python, or R.
