. The position is located in Duluth, GA and is a full‑time, in‑office role.
Represent clients including lenders, investors, financial institutions, and businesses. Applicants must be licensed attorneys in good standing in Georgia. Candidates with 0‑3 years of experience or recent law graduates applying for the Georgia Bar will be considered. The role involves practicing law in real estate, banking, corporate law, and litigation.
Duties & Responsibilities- Real Estate Law:
- Draft, review, and negotiate real estate contracts, leases, and related documents.
- Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, including title searches and property assessments.
- Advise clients on zoning, land use, and environmental regulations.
- Banking Law:
- Provide legal counsel on banking regulations and compliance matters.
- Assist in the preparation and review of loan agreements, security documents, and other financial instruments.
- Represent clients in negotiations and disputes with financial institutions.
- Corporate Law:
- Advise on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and business structuring.
- Draft and review corporate documents, including bylaws, shareholder agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on corporate transactions.
- Litigation:
- Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
- General Responsibilities:
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective client service.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be proactive and self‑starter.
- Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with clients, attorneys, other internal employees, and outside parties.
- Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team‑oriented manner.
- Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi‑task and adapt to continual change.
The employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work EnvironmentNormal office working conditions. Noise level is quiet to moderate. This is a full‑time position Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
