Project Coordinator - Energy

About the Role

WEG Electric Corp. is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Duluth, GA. The role involves scheduling and coordinating special orders and projects, ensuring timely customer delivery and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturing facilities and customers.

• Review purchase order and contract requirements.
• Create orders in the system and generate manufacturing files.
• Obtain necessary support from manufacturing facilities to meet customer deliveries.
• Act as the main point of contact for the customer.
• Keep upper management informed of order progress and highlight risks, issues, or opportunities.
• Arrange customer and vendor visits as required.
• Identify and monitor any scope changes and process change orders with appropriate approvals.
• Verify shipping terms and details with logistics.
• Initiate invoices with the finance department for progress/milestone payments.
• Ensure the company’s commercial and contractual position is not compromised.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.

• Moderate understanding of industry trends, market forces, and customer expectations.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.

• 1+ year of relevant experience.
