Position SummaryAs Senior Manager of Marketing technology, you will provide operational support to the Marketing team, oversee the marketing technology stack, drive database strategy, and work with cross‑organizational teams to maintain top‑of‑funnel health.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- With 1‑2 specialists and external agency support, provide the marketing team with operational support across the Mar Tech stack to launch, track, and optimize programs.
- Manage conversion tracking across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Linked In, Email, etc., ensuring leads are properly tagged for attribution.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing, and other key departments to monitor business strategies, revenue growth, and KPIs.
- Support the identification, evaluation, and procurement of marketing technology.
- Work with IT, line‑of‑business stakeholders, and partners to deploy technology and related processes, providing training as needed.
- Use data and analytics to measure and improve performance, including tracking key metrics.
- Collaborate with product, customer success, and other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing operations/Mar Tech.
- Provide marketing with training, enablement, and ongoing technical support.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure VES leads are routed and converted per established processes, creating a highly efficient lead management engine.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience using data to improve performance.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, such as CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of the sales process and the company’s target audience and goals.
- Ability to conduct market and customer research to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong project management skills, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Willingness to learn and grow in revenue operations, continuously improving skills.
- Strong team‑work, professional demeanor, and time‑management skills.
- Basic computer skills, internet proficiency, business research tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and working knowledge of CRM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, supporting concurrent requests.
- Clear commitment to producing polished work and consistently demonstrating attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.
- 5–8 years in marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
- Strong B2B marketing background.
- Demonstrable experience in marketing automation, CRM administration, and budget management.
- Proven experience in conversion optimization across marketing channels.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM as administrator or analyst.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and related tools.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation software such as Marketo, Pardot, or Hub Spot.
- Certification in Marketo, other marketing automation, or Salesforce preferred.
