  Inpatient Med Surg on a hospital unit
• Holiday coverage: must work 2 major holidays of the 3 (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (e.g., the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)

• Provide direct care to adult patients on the Med Surg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses; manage IVs and drains as ordered
• Monitor vital signs, identify changes in condition, and respond to clinical alarms and emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and case managers to develop and adjust care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient education
• Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and AHA BLS guidelines; document accurately and timely

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience
BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a hospital setting (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Must be able to meet travel assignment requirements and pass standard background and credentialing checks
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location
