Roofing Contractor Sales Representative

If you're experienced in roofing sales and prefer being out in the field instead of sitting behind a desk, this position puts your skills to work where they matter. Know how to turn a roofing inspection into a sale? Put that experience to work with a growing residential roofing company. This outside sales position is designed for roofing professionals who enjoy meeting homeowners, finding new business, and managing their own sales activity.

You'll receive company-provided leads and prospect for additional customers through door-to-door canvassing. Your territory will include residential neighborhoods with older roofs and properties affected by recent storms. You'll inspect roofs, discuss your findings with homeowners, recommend roofing solutions, and close repair or replacement projects.

• Develop residential roofing sales opportunities through neighborhood canvassing.
• Meet with homeowners from company-provided leads.
• Perform free roof inspections to assess visible wear and storm damage.
• Discuss roofing problems, explain available services, and secure sales.
• Complete customer agreements and related sales paperwork.

Previous roofing sales experience is required. You understand residential roofing, know how to speak with homeowners, and have experience moving sales opportunities from the first conversation to a completed agreement. You enjoy working independently, take initiative in finding new customers, and are comfortable with door-to-door prospecting. The position requires climbing ladders and performing residential roof inspections. You must have a car or truck to travel between customer appointments and neighborhoods.

Annual Earning Potential: $100,000 to $250,000
