Technician Fiber Installation

Overview

At Prince Telecom, as a Technician Fiber Installation, you’ll set up and take care of the fiber optic networks that help connect people. You ll make sure everything runs smoothly, fix any problems, and keep us connected without any interruptions.

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Pay: $17-$22/hr
• Location:
  
  Canton, GA and surrounding area

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet and telephone based on guidelines
• Install, setup and configure all equipment
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after hours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver s license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Telecom experience (Fiber Optics preferable)
• Ladder experience

• Routinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, work with arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
