Body Technician – Classic Collision

- Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in preparing a 100% repair plan.
- Identify all needed repairs to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
- Plan work procedure following the work order for all listed operations.
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, and hydraulic windows, and seat operating equipment to gain access to damaged area.
- Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts; ensure all gaps and fits meet industry standards.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.).
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to the Paint Dept.
- Repair or replace defective parts.
- Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Classic Collision standard operating procedures, safety, rules, and guidelines.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
- 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License required.

- Successful completion of background check required.

The employee is regularly required to use hands, talk, and hear. The employee must stand, sit, and walk for long periods. The employee may reach and move objects up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made.
