Dev Ops Engineer

Individual will contribute as a software engineer on Dev Ops and Agile
Scrum teams. Ideal candidate will have experience in software
development, system administration and test engineering. Will develop
high-quality, cost-effective, and timely solutions in the fast-paced
global financial services industry. Must be highly motivated and a
self-starter who enjoys innovating and constantly improving the products
and processes.

Will work closely with other software engineers,
architects, scrum masters and product owners in small Scrum teams and
will help evolve the agile process. Will ensure products are scalable
and adhere to specifications. Will coach and mentor other engineers.

Education/Skills

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical
field
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development,
systems administration and test engineering / strong preference for
experience in all 3 domain areas
• Working knowledge of Dev Ops •
Proficient in Windows and/or Linux system administration
• Proficient in
scripting technologies
• Working knowledge of automation tools •
Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies
• Service oriented
mentality / servant to the teams
• Experience with Continuous Delivery •

Experience with software configuration management automation •

Experience with software installation automation
• Experience with
networking technologies
• Working knowledge of agile software
development methodologies
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and
collaboration skills
• Ability to speak developer and consultant
language and translate between the two
• Working knowledge of
architecture and design principles
• Experience with continuous
improvement processes and principles, including six sigma

design, develop, and maintain complex software code and systems •
